But as I think this is an expensive part, I'd check all the electrics first.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey everyone, I recently bought a 2004 Boxster base and have been wrenching on it to make it perfect. I got the car running properly with a new water pump, thermostat and heater control valve. I went for a drive and noticed that the turn signals sometimes don’t work or sometimes they stay solid or sometimes when I hit the stock nothing happens I read online that may be the hazard button is stuck so I hit that a few times and the turn signals would work after, but I couldn’t replicate it. I am ordering a new hazard button just to be on the safe side, but was wondering if anyone else can help me with this problem? Thanks

POST 2Original post

The turn signal mechanism itself is also known to cause issues. Honestly, they all feel terrible, but some feel more terrible than others and they seem to be close to failing. But as I think this is an expensive part, I'd check all the electrics first. Get yourself a wiring diagram and work yourself through it. Obviously the bulbs are ok, but the rest is to be checked.
