~gains of the race hearders?
I'm sorry I don't have any dyno gains with the Race Headers but these are usually 3-5 HP over the cat versions at the top end.
Besides looking easier to fabricate than the longtubes, does this catless version perform better?
The Catless header will provide more power at the top end of the RPM range since you will lose a bit of backpressure down low. This setup is ideal for a track oriented Carrera/GTS that will be over 4000 RPM.
I didn't realize this thread was in the 911 forum.
I have your longtube catless headers on my Cayman and am very pleased with them. No back pressure for me...thank you. The car also runs better without a 1" hole in only one cat.
