Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good morning. I bought a Foxwell scan tool for my airbag light and I have fault code 29 - Ignition Circuit - Side airbag, Driver. I can erase it, but it immediately come back. Any ideas? I thought it was one of the seat belt buckles, but I believe that is a different code. Im thinking about buying a used drivers side door airbag on eBay for $25 to see if that fixes it before spending the money on a new one. The car is a 2003 Carrara Cab. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Id make sure the connections are solid, and you have good continuity in the wires. Where they flex at the door hinge area can weaken wires.

POST 4Original post

Hi, did you solve the issue ? I am having same fault code

POST 5Original post

I have the same issue and posted a thread about it here: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...questions.html There is some good information there. I tried reseating the airbag plug in the door but no luck. I've ordered a test wire to confirm whether the airbag itself is the problem but I haven't received it yet.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
