Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, I joined PCGB when I bought my first Porsche (996 C4S) nearly a month ago, so I'm new here. Hello to those I haven't already met (second post) Absolutely loving the car, I've had some nice cars leading up to getting my 911 but it's definitely the best car I've owned. I had some problems in the first few days, but after help here, a full service and all fluids/oils/coil packs etc changed the car is running great, also having the IMS/clutch replaced on Wednesday so the car's coming together and I am getting more sleep now. I was just wondering, if you had to have your car in a garage for a few days and were offered any Porsche as a courtesy car what car you'd choose? I don't have this option btw, I take a train. Obviously, you're not allowed GT2/3s or a turbo and what car do you already have? For me it would be a Cayman, I've never considered one before, but they're growing on me very fast. Thanks, Rob.
