Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So it rained lately around here and i got caught in it! so my wheels were all gummed up. So I did a nice deep clean and just wanted to post some before and after pics. I actually went and took the whole wheel off just to make it even more thorough. and now the AFTER pics. phew...

POST 3Original post

Nice, most people don't clean the inside of the wheel. May I suggest you use this to clean the wheel nut area. http://www.eshine.ca/clean_wheel_nut_and_cavity_cleaner-3030.php?cat=14 The OCD part of me also wants to tell you that the center caps should point to the valve stem.

POST 4Original post

^ That's pretty smart. p.s. Those spoked wheels lend themselves to waxing to cut down on dust. I don't mess with Wheel Wax brand because I found it to be a little to hard to remove. I use any old acrylic (synthetic--as in not carnauba) wax, eitehr liquid or paste. Particularly the inside of the wheel. Then I use my go to antistatic spray (Finish Kare 425 from www.autogeek.net ). After about a week the brake dust rolls right off with a simple Optimum No Rinse bucket mix and a soft wheel face brush. All four come clean in about five minutes.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I used a household degreaser it was a pretty mild one tho something that i use on my Caphalon tephlon pans i thought about a wheel was but i dont have one yet... ill have to see what i can get in the near future.
