Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

Get a warranty to cover all eventualities - engines failures are rare - the RMS (rear main seal) weeps normally - some leak and need changing - some don't.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Works for me as a daily driver 40 mile commuting a day - if you have the Porsche warranty I don't think you have anything to fear, RMS leaks etc... I think you'll have to spend the top end of your budget though maybe a bit over for a C4S. Great car in 6 months no probs just lots of fun, very usable, the rear seats are good for kids to about 10 - very practical - or thats what I told her indoors anyway. Go for it. Migration info. POST 3Original post

Hi Michael, As a relative newcomer to the scene I can offer you what I have found out. A C4S will be a MY2002 and so more like £40k at the moment. Mileage is fine but be prepared to take a depreciation hit and budget for annual servicing say £500 - £1000 and tyres annually with that mileage. Get a warranty to cover all eventualities - engines failures are rare - the RMS (rear main seal) weeps normally - some leak and need changing - some don't. Migration info. Legacy thread was 106980
