Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Check fuses to include replacing D7 with a back up, and power is good.
Leading evidence: 'Check fuses' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check fuses' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Suggestion
if you plan on cleaning the rads and removing the bumper, thats a good opportunity to relocate the emergency release cable to behind the external temperature sensor.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So went to store on the way home, pop frunk and place consumables in. Yay.
Get home and it will not release. Car is running fine, rear releases from interior; frunk cycles as if it wants to open but the actual lid will not release. Check fuses to include replacing D7 with a back up, and power is good. All locks work and lights turn over. Did the lock reset per the manual. Everything is fine... but the frunk.
Both FOBs are good. Batteries are new.
Come to hit the FOB frunk release and it opens. Then after other attempts it will not. And then after another 15, it will. So I am thinking the latch might need to be greased, or at worst replaced? My power is good, it's audibly trying to "pop", but guess if it is intermittent it is the physical switch given every time I attempt to open it, the wiring turns over and attempts to release. I know there is the insulated wiring from the driver's side of the interior of the frunk to the mechanical switch as well. It's working, but just not releasing.
I was supposed to do the radiators this weekend but I am not doing that with an unreliable frunk. Any ideas?
Either way, I got the groceries... and the bourbon out... So I can deal with it.

thank good the bourbon is in good hands.
Great idea. Yeh I am aborting the radiator replacement until I figure this out. Seems to be working fine this morning.
This car is more temperamental than a 15 year hold high-schooler...
How hot was it yesterday when your car was sitting in the parking lot? Excessive heat will do it. Then once parked in a garage outside of direct sunlight for 6-8 hours it will function properly again.
Knock on wood but everything appears fine... I say that and figure I will be back here shortly...
I did ask my indie to take a quick look at it. The car is going in to have the burp valve replaced on the coolant tank (he is doing free of charge after installing the tank back in JAN), so figured to ask. Will report back with anything but this seems like a pretty easy DIY (for a residential garage mechanic) pending the work needs to be done at the latch/wiring through the frunk/frunk liner.
Will post back when I get it back on Friday.
