If it’s been stored correctly a really good check over and a thorough recommission/new tyres etc should suffice but as you say it would have at least been wise to have evidence of a few oil changes ..as always buyer beware.

And it shouldn’t matter about how many miles it’s done things need replacing with age and especially if it’s not been used.

It’s a shame it’s never been used but hopefully that will change.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

They have always been used lightly and MOT’d but had routine servicing( often OPC)…they required little in what I would class as extra work like bushes suspension etc that a higher mileage
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It sounds a little strange does this one. When you look at the questions on the auction site that cars never really been anywhere near a garage for a service. And it shouldn’t matter about how many miles it’s done things need replacing with age and especially if it’s not been used. Ok £3000 has just been lavished on it but that’s nothing in what should have been spent on it in its lifetime.
I've spent nearly £3k on mine in 15 months and 8500 miles...... this is well overdue some serious coin spending but it will be one hell of a C4s when it's done.

I’ve bought a couple of low mileage 986/996 under 10k mileage) over the years. They have always been used lightly and MOT’d but had routine servicing( often OPC)…they required little in what I would class as extra work like bushes suspension etc that a higher mileage
(routinely used) car would require.
You really couldn’t differentiate them from a 1yr old car in both how they drive/ handle cosmetic and mechanical condition.
The thing that really takes its toll is our climate and the use of salt etc Things get really crusty relatively quickly unless protected nowadays.
