Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When I installed the new motor in her car I decided to reuse the existing clutch because it still looked new. I should have just replaced it then. I was never happy with the clutch pedal feel. Too stiff! The return spring is fine. So new clutch today. I pulled the transmission out this morning. Pulled the clutch off and inspected the flywheel. It is making a weird tick noise when I move it back and forth. I have not had one do that before. New flywheel.....Check! I started looking around for other things that might be needed while I am waiting for my parts. Looks like my transmission mount is cracking. In for a penny in for a pound. I'm going to do an oil filter service too while I'm at it. Some pictures so far...... New clutch parts. Old clutch parts. New and old transmission mounts Clutch release parts. Flywheel side of engine with LN IMS Solution. My work space.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New flywheel. Flywheel installed. Pressure plate and clutch disc installed. Going back in. Transmission back in place.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The right tool for the job. Out with the old. Going in with the new. New mount installed. Bottom is done.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Pulley lock tool with the forget me not. All done.

Hi Tony, Thank you. It is noticeably more torquey with the 4.0 in it.
