Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

Out of interest I checked the price of this in AU, but my dealer couldn't find any stock of either number here nor in Germany so I didn't bother pressing for a price.
Leading evidence: 'Check price of this in au' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'trusted customer' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check price of this in au' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
any one know where I can buy 00072196190, also known as 9619 shift alignment tool from?
I've seen plenty of 00072196191 which is designed for the 987/997.
Alternatively if someone has one I can borrow?
Looks like this:
thanks
£3? Didn't know you can buy anything from there for that little!
Did you get 00072196191?
I thought there was a difference between the 996 and 997 alignment.
Sorry my cost figure was misleading a little, I've just looked at the invoice and it was £2.76 all in, and they posted it to me for free and they haven't asked for payment yet.
You are probably a trusted customer. I've taken hundreds of £ of product without payment because it saves them 2 minutes on the computer and they know I will be back. The dealer wins in the end.

While on the phone I checked two other part prices and found them broadly in line with overseas vendors but without the often huge additional shipping costs. So I have to retract my pessimistic comments, at least on this occasion. Pleasantly surprised!! (whiskey tango foxtrot??)
Ok, with one thing after another I've forgotten to order the thing, but I'd thought I try it any way. The shift is very precise, but it isn't easy to get from 1st to 2nd, it was like that before, the short shift seems to have accentuated that, however, I reckon re-alignment will help.
I need to pull my finger out and order the tool.
just tried ordering the tool, it's gone up to £16.51 + VAT
for a bit of plastic I'll only use the once.
Any one like to lend out their bit of plastic ?
I'll send you £5 or to charity for your trouble.
