Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've got a 986 alongside my 996 and actually use the 996 as my daily and the 986 for road trips etc.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Z4M..... SLK55.....3.2 V6 Alfa Spider..........???????
Not particularly as she doesn't owe me anything per say.... i am however, a 1 car kinda guy and have a decent Co car too so more than 2 is just a waste on a few levels.
This one sold on CC yesterday. I didnt look closely but looks nice and good value on the face of it.

I didnt look that closely but it just looked like it wasnt a lot of money for a 997 Cab. I get the soft top thing. I am lucky my other half has had her convertible for 18 years so we have that for the nice summer days. If you do go away from Porsche then look at the Alpina's. Lots of well looked after ones and a great car. A bit more exclusive than an M3.
Well my thinking is that's about what I would like to pay for one if I was in the market, then off to Hartech, result would be a sorted 997 for 25k (ish, assuming no other urgent work needed to chassis, etc)
Would be a nice car if you did that. Or keep the money aside in case it needs to go to Hartech at some point if its ok now.
Another one here that hasnt sold yet which looks a bit nicer.

For the record I am not affiliated with the owner or CC. I just spend too much time looking at them when I should be working
I'd look at Boxsters, at which ever level you feel you can afford, be it 986/987/981/718. I always think that they look better than the equivalent 911 Cab and that you get a better 'bang for your buck'. I've got a 986 alongside my 996 and actually use the 996 as my daily and the 986 for road trips etc.
Although having said all that, I've got a soft spot for 993 cabs and the later Turbo/Turbo S cabs. Think the latter would be a great European GT.
Had a few Boxsters and actually sold my 2010 2.9 before i bought the 996. Beautiful cars and so well balanced.
Doubt it'll be another though as i'm keen to try something else..... would love 5L TVR or go back to Corvettes .
I'll mull it over during the weekend and doubt i'll lose any money on the 996, if at all.
3rd world problems i suppose.
Good spot but reading Harry and Frank's stories about these older G body Porsche's i doubt i'd be in the financial position to consider one of these sadly.
