Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Another wheel topic! Did anyone notice that the wheels shown on the exclusive car (the 10 spokes) are described as being wider (1/2' front and back) than the other 19' option wheels? What difference do youexpect this to make? I am pressuming, as it doesn't state otherwise, that the rubber is remaining the same 235 and 265 width. Thoughts? Jack

POST 2Original post

We can't get them in the U.S. so I don't want to think about it... /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/taunt.gif Seriously though, good question, can you make out from the photo what the tire sizes were on those wheels? I would think if they were a 1/2' wider that they would put different tires on them but maybe not. Wider tires would mean more contact patch. I wonder if Wheel Enhancement in the U.S. can special order these wheels?

POST 3Original post

No, can't read them in the picks, but will ask/look on Saturday and let you know. I will also try and find out why they are not available in the US for you. Still not having them myself. Still sold on the Carrera S wheels with the Black. Too mean looking to ignore!

POST 4Original post

Good news according to the documents that just went up from Porsche the wheels WILL be available here early next year.

POST 5Original post

Are these Forged? Does Porsche have any forged wheels or are they all cast? I remember hearing that porsche is notorious for having alot of unsprung weight.

POST 6Original post

different offset, so larger width size for carrera sport
