Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It looks like that rubber grommet would fit in the hole to the right and up a bit, in which case your bit of loom should run inside the cover to something!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys i have had my porsche off the road for two years due to going away. It has been on a trickle charger and started first turn of the key! Runs great however i removed the gt2 wing and replaced with the oem one whilst it was off the road, i have a connector that i cannot figure where it plugs in!? Also i have a pcm warning message on the dash now, but no engine management light, any idea where to start with that? Pic of the connector attatched, its not the main harness one but cant for the life of me see where it goes.

POST 3Original post

If its not there, follow the cable round your decklid to where there'll be a socket on the other end.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Alex, thats the main harness tho i have connected that so met, this one is far smaller :/

POST 5Original post

It looks like that rubber grommet would fit in the hole to the right and up a bit, in which case your bit of loom should run inside the cover to something! Have a closer look about and see if you can a see a matching connector, there can't be that much on the cover, brake light maybe, or spoiler motor or spoiler microswitch?

That's why I said follow it up your deck lid.

POST 7Original post

If it does go through that hole that's kind of in the direction of the brake light so I would look there first!
