Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Kman, I have been checking my email awaiting the "announcement" that you said will be coming soon. Then, I got the Porsche Experience brochure in the mail with the news that the X51 option is available on the CarreraS going to 381 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. Is this it? Will we have an additional hp boost option? Would that be great or what? Bob

POST 3Original post

The X51 is a $16,000 USD option that, at least in my opinon, doesn't add much to the 911 performance for the price. However, 381 HP in a Cayman would make quite a difference and probably would be worth $16,000 which would be less than a GT3 engine. Do not, under any circumstances, hold your breath waiting for this to be released!!!!
