I don't know which fuse controls this motor but each one I check seems ok and everything else on the car works.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The rear lid on my 2002 Targa suddenly stopped working. When it last tried to close, the latch closed but the lid was not engaged. The latch would not release with either the key or the switch on the floor. Took apart the access panel was able to free latch but now the latch motor will not operate. I can close the lid to the first catch but it won't activate to close tight. Once latched you have to manually release the lid again to open it. I don't know which fuse controls this motor but each one I check seems ok and everything else on the car works. Help!
