Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

I have to believe that if they are large enough to be running so many tests, they are running results for fleets or larger customers.
Leading evidence: 'Run results' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run results' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

ALS is actually who I called looking for a Lab that did PQI tests, they referred me to Oilvue.....( saying that none of "thier Labs" do PQI test) ...other than that I don't know the inner workings/partnerships of the Labs...

As has been known and mentioned before in Rennlist , as wear increases, particle number increases UNLESS/UNTILL the particles become larger than 10 micron ,, then an ICP or RDE test will ACTUALLY SHOW LESS PARTICLES , this gives the wrong impression that even the laboratories have/will misdiagnose...

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone have a number to call Oilvue? I ordered a sample kit on the 3rd and received the order confirmation but have yet to receive a shipping confirmation. Ive emailed and filled out the message feature on the website to no avail
Nope but I tried emailing several times re. my oil analysis I did and nobody cared to return my message. Kind of a shame because I was excited and interested in going that route for future UOA needs. I just got another speediagnostix kit. Lake responds to emails in less than a day usually.
That's a shame, they are the only ones who do a PQI test.....
I guess with 50 years in the business doing 3 million tests a year ( 8k a day) ..their Customer Support is now sucking ...
I do hope that they improve that side of the business. Usually after so long, you'd expect that customer services would be in line with the technical side. I specifically asked about fuel dilution values which were not there as well as soot measurement which they talk about on their site but never received a response after a few follow ups. On the upside, the app you use needs a bit of work but was good overall and I liked the format how it's presented.
I tried them some time ago and got the same report. Everything was fine, but no real details. I have to believe that if they are large enough to be running so many tests, they are running results for fleets or larger customers. And this report is all they need. They need a flag to take an engine out of service, who cares why. Where we enthusiasts want to see the detail so we can worry more. Crossing priorities.
Why I like the PQI test explained::
All laboratories use one of two instruments to detect wear metals..ICP (inductively coupled plasma) or RDE ( rotating disc electrode) ......
ICP::: can detect only particles less than 5 micron
RDE :: can detect only particles less than 10 micron...
Most oil filters will only catch particles of 30 micron or larger
THE MOST DAMAGING PARTICLES ARE THE ONES THAT ARE FROM 10 MICRON TO 25 MICRON
As has been known and mentioned before in Rennlist , as wear increases, particle number increases UNLESS/UNTILL the particles become larger than 10 micron ,, then an ICP or RDE test will ACTUALLY SHOW LESS PARTICLES , this gives the wrong impression that even the laboratories have/will misdiagnose... but the PQI test will show ALL ferrous metals no mater the size and will increase the PQI number....
This is why I like the PQI test......
Unfortunately no laboratory offers ALL the tests I would like to see in a basic package for a reasonable cost...
ALS is actually who I called looking for a Lab that did PQI tests, they referred me to Oilvue.....( saying that none of "thier Labs" do PQI test) ...other than that I don't know the inner workings/partnerships of the Labs...
Finally received a communication **Michael my apologies we had an issue with connecting to our shipping and inventory department that we are fixing.
I have instructed the team to send out the kit. **
hopefully service will improve going forward
