Hey, I need some help! After a track day oil was found over the engine and pooling under the intake. I had the motor inspected and found Oil pooling under intake. The shop Performed leak down and compression tests. 15% leakage on cylinder #2, scoring on bank one cylinder walls. What can I do short of scrapping the motor. Can I replace bank 1 cylinders and pistons? Do you have any suggestions? I want to track the car...? Thanks for the discussion. Peter

I just finished reading Jake Raby's article on Cylinder Bore Scoring. It may be expensive, but fortunately it may not mean scrapping the engine.
