Planning a full suspension refresh and replacing gearbox and engine mounts while the car is on four axle stands. Does anyone know if the 997.2 PDK gearbox mounts are the same as the 986 apart from the mounting bracket? I am in the UK, and PDK gearbox mounts are £330 per side OEM, supplied with the bracket already attached. Design 911 also lists RSS Performance mounts that are PDK compatible and they are supplied without brackets. This suggests the bracket is reusable. But ideally want to keep the car stock and don't want the ride to be too firm. Design 911 also has "OEM Match" 986 /987 hydraulic transmission mounts at £99 each, which look identical to the PDK OEM ones: 986 .375.049.02. The picture on the PDK -specific OEM part shows a 986 part number ( 986 .375.049.02) on the mount itself which matches the £99 part number, but has 9A1 174 50 number on the bracket, which suggests it's for 987.2 only (9A1 engine) Also found ebay list listing with pics below The mount itself shows the same 986 number as Design 911, and the Porsche OEM plastic bag with a label showing 9A137509451, which is the complete mount and bracket set for 987.2 PDK specifically (£326). Can I just keep the bracket and buy 986 (986.375.049.02) mounts for £99? Can anyone confirm if the gearbox mounts are the same on 986 and 987 PDK?
