i have seen some seats with this, and checked my own, but there seems to be a blanking plate over where the knob should be.

Suggestion

My guess is it would be easier and probably cheaper to replace the seats with a set that already have the function

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all,i have a question re the lumbar support feature on the 996 seats. i have seen some seats with this, and checked my own, but there seems to be a blanking plate over where the knob should be. Was this a cost option on the seats? I dont think theyre sport seats as they dont have the extended shoulder pieces, see att.If it is a cost option, can it be retrofitted?cheers /images/migration/UploadedForumImages/front%20seats2.JPG Migration info. POST 2Original post

Piers, you are correct yours are standard spec seats (like mine) I know people have discussed retrofitting seat heating but I've never heard anyone discuss the lumbar function. My guess is it would be easier and probably cheaper to replace the seats with a set that already have the function Migration info. Legacy thread was 128361

POST 3Original post
