Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Check the wiring on your internal headlight harness as well as the blinker bulb socket underneath the light.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There was some corrosion on the bulb holder socket, tried cleaning up and bending the tabs but did not work, so I purchased a new one --- also did not work.
Hello All,
I have done lots of searching but can't figure this out. Here is the issue
Front passenger turn signal does not work, it was flashing fast and was very dim.....now it doesn't light at all but rear is still flashing fast
There was some corrosion on the bulb holder socket, tried cleaning up and bending the tabs but did not work, so I purchased a new one --- also did not work.
Put all new bulbs in front TS, rear TS and side markers----- Nothing, same issue with passenger TS not lighting at all and rear flashing fast
Replaced the flasher relay ---- did not help
Checked for any bent or corroded pins in the main harness - all good there
Any and all thoughts are appreciated!!
Thanks
Check the wiring on your internal headlight harness as well as the blinker bulb socket underneath the light.
The insulation bio-degrades over time. I custom make replacement harnesses (996.1 halogen only) in case you want to replace:

This exact thing happened to me on my 2003 and it ended up being part of the plastic holder for the bulb had melted and was blocking contact with the metal tab. I was looking for the photos I took years ago and sadly I must have deleted them because I can find all of the photos of my son disassembling the headlight with a screwdriver but none of the fix... apologies.
Inspect the plastic part that the bulb twists into very carefully and make sure none of it looks droopy or deformed. When I looked at mine very carefully I realized that part of it had melted and when I cut the melted part away with my dremel everything was back to normal again. I was even able to put my new bulb in storage and re-use my old one.
Good luck!
