It turned out that the little clip on the axle where the light unit locks with, was out of it's place and therefore the bushing of that axle was out and had more play then usual.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As I had a passenger light not starting, my surge on internet mostly went about the headlight switch. Although I did have the same idea, I still went in to look for other mishaps as my gut told me more to look for misalignment. It turned out that the little clip on the axle where the light unit locks with, was out of it's place and therefore the bushing of that axle was out and had more play then usual. So far, after putting back the way it supposed to be I have had no problems any more. part 22 was out of place and part 23 slid away and gave the lock axle(23) wiggle room to not fully connect the headlight.
