Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, Any ideas. When turning to the right and under load (i.e. at speed) I get a definite 'clunk' sound from the front left side of the car. I have looked underneath and can't see anything lose or hanging down. A friend thinks it might be the CV joint? Anyone had a similar issue? Thanks Rhys

POST 2Original post

Start by checking roll bar and suspension bushings. Any bush that may have failed should be replaced in pairs.

POST 3Original post

Is it at the front, or the back, can you tell? Is your car a C4/C2?
