It had been working OK until i thought it had run out of water, I topped it up today and now when I use the washer, water dosnt get to the screen it just pours out from underneath the car when I operate the washer.

Hi, I have recently purchased a 2001 996 cab and today had an issue with the windscreen washer. It had been working OK until i thought it had run out of water, I topped it up today and now when I use the washer, water dosnt get to the screen it just pours out from underneath the car when I operate the washer. Hi Richard Sounds like a dislodged washer pipe. Had a similar problem last summer. Had it fixed at an OPC but I suspect it can be resolved yourself if you know what you are doing. I believe you have to remove the inner wheel arch cover to get at the pipes if they are not detached where visible. Paul Migration info. Legacy thread was 128326
