When my car got to 8,000 miles the agency changed my disk brakes because they had a vibration when I braked.( warrantie factory)
It had been OK, the brakes were incredible, because the disks were new, but now 2,000 miles later the same vibration started again only when I hit the brakes.( 50 to 80mph or faster)
Does someone have any idea what can be causing this?
I will get it to the agency, but I need to know if someone had experience this problem?
Thanks for your info.

If I don't use the brakes the vibration is gone, so its not the balance or torque rings.
You may want to check your alignment. This happened to me back when I had my Evo and it went away after I had the car properly aligned.
It is pretty difficult to diagnose a problem without seeing the car and being thousands of km away but I think YOU might be causing the problem. I guess you know new pads need break-in period as well (I am pretty sure you got new brake pads with the new discs) and during that period you should avoid braking hard (whenever possible) so it is a good idea to use the engine (reducing through the gears if you drive a stick).
Also it is never a good idea to stop breaking from high speeds to zero as the discs won't have ventilation and that extra heat can reshape the surface of the discs. If it happens once (to avoid an accident or whatever), probably nothing happens, but if you brake this way quite often (say when you approach tolls in highways) this is exactly what will happen.
My guess
sounds like material transferred from the pads to the rotors unevenly, do you drive (and brake) hard? its common at the track. people refer to it as "warped rotors" but that is a misnomer. you can have the rotors turned or try doing a light sanding with 120grit on a sanding block. another method i've used is to run a super abrasive track pad (hawk blues) for a few street miles, and it will literally grind away the existing pad material that is bonded to the rotor.
I'm guessing it might be mis-allignment or a warped rotor?
How about checking tire pressures first. Then tire balance. The alignment. And then the brakes.
Good point. Start with the simple stuff first.
hi......
I thank every one of you for your answers.
Today I talked with the mechanic manager on the workshop and he is personally going to check it on monday after the hollydays.
I really appreciate all your suggestions, the strange thing is that this will be the second time it happens to me, as I allready told you, they changed the disks by warranty already a few months ago. I don't hit the breakes hard, and I run normally the car.
The manager says this is the first time he hears this happens two times in a row.
If anyone has other suggestion, thankyou!!!!
Please keep us informed, like to know what it was as this is the first time I have heard of this.
I developed the same vibration when braking from 80 to 65 or so. I also noticed very slight uneven braking when coming to a stop while applying very little pressure. It turns out that both front rotors are warped after 5K miles and are being replaced under warrantee.
thanks Artman for your important information.....
regards
yes, that is a symptom of warped rotors. if it happens only when braking, it is brakes. simple, isn't it?
since this has happened before and it is not a common problem, there is some variable that is causing this... usually, it is the driver. unless, you make it a habit to wash your car immediately after driving or park your car next to sprinklers... hot rotors + water can warp the rotors prematurely.
