Hi, I have an 07 Cayman 987 and I’m researching fitting a Double Din Sony Apple Car play unit before pulling the trigger. CDR24 Non Bose AFK amp Sound package plus No Steering wheel controls I intended therefore to use incartecs fitting kit - part number FK-9591-IGN which covers the above and appears basic plug and play. The car also has factory Park Assist (Rear bumper sensors / audible distance beep warning) Query is - does anyone know if the park assist beeps are at risk of not working if using the above harness? I’ve assumed the parking beeps are output through the stereo speakers - but I cant see this mentioned anywhere through research, so hopefully not? - but I could do with getting confirmation from someone who’s had the same car/spec and has gone aftermarket - that the park assist still works as it should. Preferably by anyone that’s used the same incartec harness if anyone can help!
