Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Anyone with TPC turbo kit pushing 500+ what aftermarket ecu are you running? Haltech , AEM, Syvecs?

POST 2Original post

I’m more curious on what your compression is… either of those stand alone snare capable…

POST 3Original post

Engine is due to be rebuilt next month, plan is to lower stock 987.2 compression from 12.5:1 down to 10:1 Not planning any displacement increase.

POST 4Original post

In addition to what 08, typed, factory power has the engineering balance to handle the forced induction.

POST 5Original post

It’s just a ton of unnecessary work and cost when you can just fit a tried and true turbo motor. Granted you’ll still have a ton of relocating of components and accessories. I would drop the intercooler out the back in a vertical position… I did that with an MR2 and it worked super good

POST 6Original post

Thanks Porsche 08 👍 Never heard of a Turbo S swap into a cayman , will take a look

POST 7Original post

I’m not 100% sure it’s been done with an actual turbo S motor… the idea is exactly the same… it’ll cost you 15-20k minimum to rebuild what you have into a low compression motor and you still need the turbo kit and an installer…. I’m guessing a turbo motor could be had for way less than all that
