Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I believe this is a PCM 2.1 but in any case I've never found a source for just the button, short of buying a whole used head unit.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hi, Folks A while back, the "Main" button on my 2006 Cayman S PCM unit popped off and seems to have disappeared completely. I looked everywhere on the floor, under the seats, etc., and never found it. I believe this is a PCM 2.1 but in any case I've never found a source for just the button, short of buying a whole used head unit. Anyone know where to obtain one, or possibly have an old, replaced or non-functioning unit that they don't mind cannibalizing? It doesn't even have to say "Main." It looks like all the buttons are the same except for the captions. Thanks, Old School
