Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all - new to the forum - great source of information. Purchased my first Porsche last year, 996 C2, black, 1997 and very happy so far. A few minor probs but running well. The car was serviced by an OPC for most of it's life but the last 2 services were carried out by a specialist. The stamp in the service book is " Auto Evolution - exclusively Porsche". I am trying to contact them to check what work was carried out but I cannot locate them - the number on their stamp appears invalid. Has anyone come across them or know where they are located. The car was purchased in London. Thanks in anticipation.. Migration info. Legacy thread was 120839

POST 2Original post

Sorry Brendon - haven't heard of them, maybe one of the London guys might be able to shed some light on it. Welcome to the board though. Migration info. Legacy thread was 120851

Ok great, will check with them tomorrow. It could be that the phone number has been changed/updated of course and the stamp wasnt!. The number on the stamp is 07963 198091. Car was serviced by Lancaster Cambridge until 2004 then by Auto Evolution unitl 2006. No invoices im afraid. I think the previous owner lived in the Reading area. Thanks again. Migration info.
