Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I've got one on my 3.4 as well. Very nice sound when coupled with the sports exhaust as well. I think Fabspeed make a different one for a GT3. Migration info. Legacy thread was 120807

POST 13Original post

By the looks of the fabspeed website the 'red bit' is a bit of silicone hose which won't fit the GT3 induction arrangement. Their GT3 induction kit looks pretty much like a standard airbox with the cover removed! Looks to leave the filter element a bit exposed. I also thought that the 3 was better with cold air directed to the filter rather than an open element sucking in hot air from the engine bay. From what i've read a cup filter with a scoop or hose directing the cold air is the best bet for a 3. The manthey kit look's good but helluva expensive though. Migration info.
