Hi All, In furtherance of my audio upgrade project , I finally ordered the upgraded door mid-subs and enclosures from Rod at the CAI-Store . So now I'm on to the door skin removal. [gulp] Does anyone have some good images or links to any videos on the process of removing the door skin? Can this be done with normal shop tools, or will I need to order any special tools from Rod to do this?

Pelican parts has a good diy for removing the �door card� (or interior trim). Basic plastic trim removal tools and a few screw drivers (maybe torx) are all that�s needed. You may want to order some of the plastic clips before hand, because they often break when you remove them. Good luck

If you want a video, this is what I used when replacing the window regulator. It's not difficult and the worst part was getting the "Airbag" plaque pried off without damaging the leather around it. You Tube

I did order the door skin removal tool kit today from Rod at cai-store. I'll order a set of plastic attachments next, just to be safe.

just picky terminology,, but the door skins are the outside sheetmetal of the door, door cards or door panels are the inside.. a least thats my experience.. Obviously door skins are a bigger job LOL
