Suggestion

As for the 963 in the latest video, I'd guess it'll be either a one-off or more likely a very very limited run, like 25-100 and very very expensive ie millions.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will this be the new Porsche hypercar to take on Ferrari and McLaren? Please be a flat 12! https://youtu.be/8kWlPjWyWgI?si=m3sFEvyVg4SCk9gz

POST 2Original post

Looks a lot like a 963 in the silhouette. A road going 963 would be infinitely cooler than another generic hypercar.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, the most logical choice is for a road going 963. Also it follows the road going GT1 and even the Carrera GT from the stillborn V10 prototype.

POST 5Original post

uhh that sounds interesting. I thought they were going to build some electric car thing (Mission E or whatever it was called)

POST 6Original post

Word is that the Mission-E is being re-designed to be hybrid ie include a proper engine like the 918. This is after they showed the electric prototype version to multiple batches of potential buyers (including groups of current Carrera GT owners) and basically everyone shrugged their shoulders and said 'no thanks' to an EV supercar.

Still waiting for that euromillions email in my inbox

What would be the point of a hybrid Mission-E with the 918 engine? I'm assuming we will see a version of it in the 963 road car. Porsche are unlikely to do 2 hypercars. Perhaps the 963 will be a one off like the 917. In that case I could see a redesigned Mission-E

The latest round of unobtanium hypercars has fallen a bit flat. Chucking a hybrid in the Mission E isn't going to cut it.

Even that's only a rumour and not confirmed anywhere. As for the 963 in the latest video, I'd guess it'll be either a one-off or more likely a very very limited run, like 25-100 and very very expensive ie millions.

POST 11Original post

The holy trinity were a time and place that I am not sure will be repeated again….worked for all the manufacturers. Be interesting to see how an aged hybrid supercar will appeal in twenty tears time….I think booth the P1 and LaF have got upgraded battery systems ? I suspect history might not be kind to them.
