Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

update ive found the problem it's a "safety fuse/relay" so I followed the wire and it lead me to this white box behind the ac took the cover out i saw that it had some wires connected to bolts so in my head, I i thought that it was a little "fuse box" used my little camera to look further in found 1 bolt looked like it was screwed into the wall opened up my hood found the 1 bolt but had 2 bolts side by side by the battery took them out then was able to take out the white box then was able to fully take a good look saw that it had some type of fuses tested the fuse that had the wire i barely clip and it was no good then i connected a wire to bypass the fuse and my dash worked so I just need t

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1999 911 996 carrera: Was doing a double din stereo and was cutting some zip ties in a tight space with lots of wires under the stereo. When I had barely clipped a wire spark came out had forgot to disconnect the battery and now my dashlights and gages don't turn on. Also my brake lights that stay on and stereo don't turn on everything else works runs and drives good. Checked fuses all good. Wondering would it be a relay trying to see if I can get some ideas of what could it be.
I'd do some more research to see if there are any other fuses that you don't know about yet, it's very unlikely that that wire wasn't protected by a fuse, and you are absolutely positive you haven't snipped through another one of the wires!?

Well found. Ah thats the power distributor behind dash on the fire wall. I knew it existed but didn't know it had fuses in!
Repar kit for power distributor is no 13 on this porsche diagram
