Hello, I have a 2004 996 cab. When I start the engine it runs for 2 or 3 seconds then stops..! If i immediately try to restart it wont start... If I wait for a minute it starts and dies down in 2 to 3 seconds... Could it be the fuel filter (Cant Find It..!) or is the filter part of the in tank fuel pump. If it is can I just replace the pump unit or do I have to replace the whole assembly above the pump itself..??? Thanks for any help ! Philip:confused...

If the fuel pressure drops off, it could be the pump (your car does not have a separate fuel filter, it is built into the pump). The only way to replace the pump is to purchase a entire unit.
