Hi...I have a 2006 Boxster with 19" rims already fitted and have HR 7mm spacers for the rear to install. Can anyone advise if I need longer wheel nuts to secure the rim safely and correctly or will the standard bolts be sufficient? Thanks.

I believe the stock lug bolts (not wheel nuts) are 29mm so 35's would be recommended. There is a good suppler on Amazon .

Careful about using too long bolts on the rear. If they protrude too far they will hit on the parking brake spring. I had that problem when I installed (used) 15mm spacers and extra long bolts. I had to grind a couple mm off so it wouldn't hit. When I inquired the previous owner he said - "yeah, I heard something when I first installed them, but it went away." I bet he never tried his parking brake So to be safe, just add the thickness of the spacer to the length of OEM bolts. Double check before installing. A little longer/shorter is OK. But listen for odd clunks when you drive the first couple feet after installing.

My 7mm spacer kit came with 35mm studs just for another data point of what "works" properly. As stated above, careful not to go too long as I have personally had this experience on previous car. The studs will bind up in the E brake if too long, but I do not know where that threshold is with 7mm on a 981 .

Thanks everyone for your comments and info as it steered me in the right direction. I ended up purchasing and fitting 37mm Thread Length Bolts that I got out of Germany.
