Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 02 4s is getting lowered next week by my mechanic. Not my Porsche indie but my other mechanic. Fixes all my other cars, always super busy and been there for 20 years or so. My indie wont do work since I already have the parts. No biggie. Anyhow he asked me to get the alignment specs. Can I use these specs? These are what my indie did when he aligned it last year. Commented this is the right set up for this car. Now that I am lowering an inch, still applicable? Also I noticed the front cambers are not within specification. They were previously .2 degree which was within spec. Do I use the .2 or -.5 as shown? Also does he need to get the tire pressures the same as shown? Also, I bought adj toe link so no issue in rear adjusting. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

That looks like a super solid street alignment. Probably max the front camber(-1.5ish) and zero toe in the front. The rear looks great. Enjoy Shawn

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you Shaun. Looking forward to getting this done. Cracked spoiler lips, broken under panels here I come.

POST 5Original post

This is very close to my numbers, and I am very happy. Too much front camber and the car tramlines.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Car is finally done. Thanks all for the help. What a difference.

POST 7Original post

I have an 04 996 2 wheel drive and my numbers are front zero camber and rear -1.0 camber. I lowered the car about 1 - 1 1/2 inch and the best adjustments I could get are front -0.8 and rear -1.9 Are these numbers OK or do I need to make some changes?

POST 8Original post

Those are fine. Keep an eye on your rear tire wear, if the inside edge starts to wear too much you may want to look at correcting it.
