But it must only be used for good (putting your gf's face on a supermodel's porno shots), and never for evil (creating the "next" 911 by chopping up pics of the current 911 and throwing in pieces from the carrera gt).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

sure, get rid of the xenon headlights and put mid engine air vents on a rear engine car!

POST 3Original post

That looks big enought o be the 928 replacement they've been talking about. Isn't it going to be a 998 or something?

POST 5Original post

ahh, photoshop is a powerful tool. But it must only be used for good (putting your gf's face on a supermodel's porno shots), and never for evil (creating the "next" 911 by chopping up pics of the current 911 and throwing in pieces from the carrera gt). dan

POST 6Original post

Ist is in fact a photoshop pic. 1999 made Porsche a series for future with the Question: How long can we sell the 911? A picture like this was offered in ams Auto Motor und Sport..

POST 7Original post

Looks good, wasn't expecting it to be though. >> Edited by Roadrunner on Monday 17th June 16:48

POST 8Original post

Dunno. I actually think it looks a bit bland --somehow the 911 DNA seems only just to be hanging on by its fingertips...

POST 9Original post

manek, 90% of that dna was left in the 993. The gradual changes now just seem like little nudges forward.

POST 10Original post

Well, at least it's better looking than the Cayenne.....

POST 11Original post

All this comments are right. But this design will not produced, while the TUV will not accept this big wholes in the side.

POST 13Original post

Dunno what the problem with holes in the side is, unless they are caused by rust! The Ferrari 360 has got holes in the side, etc etc - why wouldn't it get passed TUV Frankonia, please tell?

POST 14Original post

is there a maximum air intake area? Surely if they mesh over it it makes no odds anyway....

POST 15Original post

Those intakes would be rather good at hoovering up natures fluffy snacks!

POST 16Original post

to domster. The Ferrari 360 got the specification while the car is not produced in Germanyand the holes are smaller. Porsche will have no chance to bring a design like this on market. TÜV will bring 100 safety-aspects and so on. You also have lots of trouble with a low-cost-carprojekt only in Germany. If you build a for yourself you need a ´Einzelgutachten` This paper from a technical instidution about the static for the chassis and suspension will cost 20.000 Pounds. Then you need a crastest in front and one in side. A lot of cars and bikes you can buy all over the world are not to get in Deutschland. I tried it five years ago. It is impossible. TÜV dont want this cars on the roads in Germany. U.K. ist a pardies in this way.

POST 18Original post

It's been a long time since a modern Porsche has looked so good; let's hope it won't evolve like the Boxster did: nice prototype but not such a nice car at the end of the production line...

POST 19Original post

Cheeky bugger ! Don, you 'old 'im, I'll hit 'im..... Thom, all they did was move the air intakes up a bit. Probably so it didn't clean the gutters as you drove it. Such is the induction system of these fine cars.

POST 20Original post

Err...excuse me my dear but the finished thing really isn't as cute as the prototype >> Edited by thom on Tuesday 9th April 09:13

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have to agree with Greg on this one, although obviously Boxster drivers are shandy drinking lightweights Porsche did one of the best jobs in turning a prototype into a 'real' car. The silver one on the front of a 1994/5 (I think) Autocar and Motor looks hardly any different from what you can buy in a showroom. When you compare this to what other manufacturers churm out. Remember, the MGF looked like a balls out racer that we all wanted on our drives.... Good job I didn't put down a deposit at the motor show as I'd rather have a used bath tub with go-kart wheel nailed on compared with what it really klooked like!!

POST 22Original post

Thanks Scottster ! Actually, at Nick Whale yesterday they had the Boxster S that's been cut in half lengthways, so you could see how everything is routed (cooling, for example). What a superb job - everything is covered by cowelling so you can't see jack all from under the car (I've looked) - also amazed just how close the lump is to the cabin. That explains the lovely noise every time the loud pedal is pressed.....

POST 23Original post

Don't worry Greg. You may drive a Boxster and like shandy with a drop of lime, but Scottster drinks Smirnoff Ice, which comes out of the bottling plant with a drop of oestrogen!!! He'll be flogging the 993 and putting down a deposit on a Princess Pink MGF before he knows where his chest hair's gone ;-))

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've actually ordered it in Lavender mate, much more manly!!

POST 26Original post

This photo is fake, clearly merging a new 911 Carrera with the Carrera GT

POST 27 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have to say I like it, looks very aggressive, look forward to seeing the Turbo/RS/GT versions !!
