Morning All, My cruise control has randomly stopped working and i've been doing some searching. Symptoms are that it is just completely inoperable, the green dash light doesnt light up, nothing. I did notice this last weekend and then on my return journey the light came back on for a few minutes and then nothing since! I understand this is typically to do with the clutch or brake switches but in these instances the light is still on. (i 'reset' the clutch switch quickly last night but no luck) Does anyone recall a similar scenario and the remedy? I'll hopefully get some more meaningful tinkering time at some point this week. Your bulb (for the green light) on the dash has most likely gone. If this fails then it disables the cruise from working. That would be my 1st check - 20 mins fo job to swap another bulb out the binnacle.

Thanks both, i checked the fuse at lunch time and also noticed the light is on with the ignition but then goes off when the engine is fired up and thats when it becomes inoperable. I'll have a good look/ inspection of the clutch/ brake switches, brake lights and the wiring when i can and see if i can get it plugged in. Will keep the thread up to date with any developments for future people who search.

Well weirdly enough, simply removing the fuse to check it and plugging it back in seems to have sorted the issue! I won't hold my breath just yet but we shall see... Scott
