Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I wouldn’t mind owning that
Me neither and would prefer it to the 90% of them that are silver or black. Not at £15k for a 2.7 987.1 though
Saw this on FaceAche the other day. Oddly I like it just because it’s interesting. If it were a GT car, people would be gushing over it.
PTS Rubystone GT3 touring for me
Here's my Boxster S in Gulf Orange. Everyone seems to love the colour and it turns heads like crazy - I can't park it anywhere without having a conversation about it!! I seem to be the only one who doesn't like it. Wouldn't be nearly so bad in Lava Orange, but I was hunting for a manual car with PTV, PASM, Sport exhaust and most importantly, manual gearbox. When this one appeared advertised on PH I pounced on it. No brave first owner - the car was a Porsche GB press car and the colour was specified specially. Also has orange stitching on the leather dash and doors.

I think a 718 Spyder would look fantastic in it. Think it works really well on the Boxster because the black roof breaks it up.

Like that although I would want all black interior (keep the orange stitching though)
Was it cheaper than similar silver/black/grey cars?

This looks great. Was contemplating this for my Touring at the time but went Gulf Blue in the end

Would love to see more pics and spec, lovely car, I also bought an ex P UK car as my first Porsche lol

No it wasn't cheaper - the high spec meant I had to pay top dollar, but then it only had 8500 miles on the clock when I bought it, freshly serviced by Porsche Solihull.
Original spec is:
Manual
Sports seats plus
PSE
PASM
PTV
Sport Chrono
Sport Techno wheels (originally all black but I've had them repainted in McLaren dark sparkle grey and then diamond cut)
PCM
Porsche crests in seats
I had Brooklands service centre add cruise control as I used to spend a lot of time in 50mph average speed zones and I found it too stressful in a car that gains speed so easily. And they also added voice control because I had that on a 718 S insurance loaner when some pillock wrote off my previous Agate grey 981 S by pulling out of a side road without looking.

There's photos of it all over the web. It's on Instagram, Pinterest. Seriously, there have been several occasions where I have come back to the car to see people photographing it.
Here's a couple of links with more photos - I could post more photos but I'll do that on a new thread.
Telegraph - It's not in the video but it's featured on the page:

Driver's Planet - A feature on the car itself:

It's even featured on the back cover of this book:

I don't mind the pink. I wouldn't want it on my own car but as someone who thinks it should be illegal to buy a sports car in grey, black or white, at least it's a colour and doesn't look boring. And actually, the stitching inside looks rather good I think.
So we're saying this is factory paint? I thought PTS was really difficult to get on new colours?
Does it also mean that this colour can be specced on most other Porsches now it has gone through approval?

You can spec PTS on any new Porsche, and by definition it can be any colour you like. That's how my car (above) ended up being specced in Gulf Orange which is not a colour available on the options list. And yes, it was a factory paint job.
Original car, actually I don’t think that is too bad.
Fair play to the girl, she went into it with a bit of commitment, internal paint, stitching, Porsche logos, it’s not just a wrap. And it has a manual box.
Not sure I’d drive it myself, but it’s a nice car.
Looks like one of the cars owned by Welsh businesswoman, Lisa Marie Brown. You have to admire her skills at self-promotion, especially given she’s obviously tragically colourblind.

How did she manage to get her helicopter that ghastly colour?
What, burgundy and gold? Pretty standard - especially if you're the Queen!

I nearly love that. If it was rubystone I'd be all over it.
Mrs Cheib’s Rubystar (as it is now called) Boxster
Could you post more pics of this please ?
Really like Rubystone and an old friend of mine had his MK 1 Cortina painted in it long time ago in the 90s.
Reminds me of my old Caterham 7 HPC in Rubystone Red.
Most cars were British Racing Green at the time so it always got a few comments (usually negative).

I followed a car identical to this in Gourock this morning - if that was you, then both me and my son thought it looked absolutely fantastic!

Wonder how much that colour has devalued the car.
"£1,361 below market average", according to Autotrader:

Also, unless someone bought it since the OP posted and is selling it again, it's been up for sale for at least 17 months.

The mileage has increased by a 1000 miles since it was last sold. It’s a fantastic deal for the right person. Few and far between I suspect, but for those who like pink that’s a fantastic car. Probably tons of parents out there who’s buy that as a first car for their daughter….perhaps stereotypical but a typical scenario I bet.
Can’t imagine it’ll hang around long.

I have the cash but probably not the minerals to put my name on the logbook
For how long its been on the market (even longer on eBay) then think you could offer £10K and get it.
