On several occasions now, on reaching the 80C mark it has suddenly dropped down again to the 60C marker and then slowly builds back to the normal operating temp of 80C+ Not sure what to make of this; possibly the thermostats about to fail, however once its done its trick of dropping back and coming back to normal it seems to be OK.

Over the past few days; when starting from cold, the temp guage indicates as normal up to the point where the needle reaches 80C. In the past it would settle down with the needle over the 0 and hold steady. On several occasions now, on reaching the 80C mark it has suddenly dropped down again to the 60C marker and then slowly builds back to the normal operating temp of 80C+ Not sure what to make of this; possibly the thermostats about to fail, however once its done its trick of dropping back and coming back to normal it seems to be OK. Anyone had anything similar happen ? Hope its nothing serious. Any input much appreciated.
