K-Man S,
Did I miss something? (happens often), but I didn't see a thread to discuss or ask questions about the Cayman GTR?
It did sound incredible, but would love to hear more comments about the feel of the experience and other details. I could watch that burn out over and over again.
Thanks Russ
This is a listing of equipment that F-L put on the car from a sheet that Roger handed out at the track. If this has already been posted my apologies. If K-Man S or someone else believes it should be elsewhere feel free to move it.

Russ you must have missed where I asked in the thread early on if people had any questions, and you could certainly discuss the car in the other thread as well but since you started this one and DaveC responded with the list I was going to post I will go ahead and add something here.
After driving my car hard today, I still think the stock Cayman S revs faster than the 3.8L engine, I think Pete Stout said the same thing in Excellence and I have to believe it is true, the 3.4L is quicker to rev. Now it isn't necessarily a bad thing that the 3.8L doesn't rev as quick because along the way it is producing more power. I know the GTR had a short shifter in it, but honestly I really like the stock shifter and maybe I'm just comfortable with it but I don't really have any complaints in that department. The alcantara steering wheel was great for grip with bare hands, I wish I had that on my steering wheel now. Carbon fiber doors would be nice too, here is a pic of the Car & Driver test driver who accidentally pulled the door off the 997 cup car - we all told him he had to buy it now that he'd broken it... /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/tounge_smile.gif
Thanks Dave & K-Man S,
When I listened to the burn out again it seemed that it had a lower gear ratio than the stock Cayman. Those shifts seem to be awfully close together from the sound of it. Was it a stock rear end?
Thanks Russ

Does anyone know the offsets used for the wheels in front and back? Did the 245 and 285 combination work well? Will wider tires fit? If so, has anyone tried wider tires? I am looking to get some track wheels for my cayman, and I was wondering what widths and offsets will fit, and I am hoping to hear some feedback on the best track setup regarding wheels and tires.
Thanks,
Mark
