Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Just a couple of days after picking up my Cayman I rubbed the nose and mared the silver chin plate. I have PASM...and 19" wheels. Anyone replace these pieces? Cost?

POST 2Original post

What do you mean by silver chin plate? The two titanium painted plastic side lips?

POST 3Original post

i think you are talking about the two silverish/aluminum finish peices on the shin spoiler...are you not? Not sure about replacement cost, but i am looking into having bumper plugs paint mine guards red to match my cayman. i sent them an email this last weekend, but havent heard anything back from them yet. as soon as i find out i will PM ya or post a reply in this thread. i also asked them if they could paint the fog lamp spears....

POST 4Original post

Those little trim peices are held on by three anchors each it appears, and they look to be somewhat sacrificial by design. Mine got scrapped as I pulled out of my shop door after the first Zaino, but is not visible unless you look under the car. I say if you can't see the scrapes, don't waste your time fixing them. They'll scrape again, it's The Law.

POST 5Original post

I purchased parts & painted them black to match cayman, parts cost $55.00 from Sunset Imports. part # for one is 987505528019B1.

POST 6Original post

Yes, the two silver/platinum/aluminum look plastic pieces…….$55 what a bargain!….I agree that it most likely will happen again but it nice to know if you want to concourse the car it wont take a body shop…..or a bank! Thanks!
