Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Check price, suggested retail $3,299' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check price, suggested retail $3,299' (1 discussions). These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

lol! I don't think it is practical, unless your garage is very small... - and tall..
It looks a bit too pimped to me.
Still happy with your croc? (stupid question, I know)
Flatout,
It might not be practical and you might not be able to get out of the car in your own garage unless it had an option to work both ways (vertical and horizontal). And yes I love my car more and more everyday. She will be in her first car show this Sunday and I cannot wait. Lots of detailing tomorrow./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/regular_smile.gif

I love it personally, but for i think it was like 3400 dollars american.....a bit pricey.....but if you got it flaunt it.......i would do it if the price was more like 2500
It just isn't a priority at this time for me, otherwise I would love em on my Cobalt. Then there is that 'wife factor' how do I explain changing something that works perfectly and $3200 to boot?
Russ
Matt,
It is funny, because I can hide the small things, like my new Porter Cable buffer and my exhausts tips, but I might have some trouble trying to explain a 3K charge on my card. LOL
Russ
I remember there was a company based in San Diego, that would do it to any car for $2000. They had done it to a lot of expensive cars, and many of their clients were celebrities. I am going to check up on it, and post where it is. I think the look is awesome!!!
P.S. I am going to most likely do it. I told myself that i was going to do it to my next car, and this is it./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbsup.gif/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/dance.gif

If you all are old enough to remember the slantnose phase you will also remember the way the value of those 'garage' converted 911's went in the tank. So just consider that there is the entry price and the 'get out price' of this kind of conversion. Personally I think its not very nice thing to do ones Cayman.
Another thing that was bothering e was that when i looked in on what the different codes mean on the site they state that they 'MIGHT' have to cut and drill certain parts.......that would make me real nervous.....
BTW, The $3,200 was for the parts and did not include the installation. Maybe if you want real scissor doors you should save up for an SLR or Murcielago?
It was a fun thought. For now I think I am going to stick with the less expensive options. Besides I would probably have to ship my car to the mainland to have it done, not going to happen!
Russ
Lambo actually designed the doors to go up like that to be practial lol...(tight parking spaces)
I just don't like taking off a trademark of a brand like that. Remember to that you should only do this if you are only going for looks. The parts involved (hydralics, hinge etc.) will make it heavier, and these 'universal' kits will eventually rip a giant hole into your door/chassis
Honestly the only car deserving these kits are the Gallado (which, to keep prices down? open normally)
On a side note, anyone saw how the CCR has its doors open? You think anybody can make a kit for that?
