Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just got in car found water in footwell drivers side Could this be a front drain blocked Regards Steve

POST 2Original post

Sounds quite common in these cars. I think i've seen a guide somewhere showing all the drain holes and how to unblock them.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found the four drain tubes in the front but there is no rubber tubing going from then was told by my Indy this is normal. The leak is not down the footwell but from the steering column just past the knee panel really can’t see how the water gets there. Any suggestions would be helpful Regards Steve

POST 6Original post

If there is no tubing taking it to the floorpan, it has to go somewhere.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes there is tubes in the drawing but Indy say it is not representative The leak is above the drain holes Very confusing

POST 8Original post

Lie in the car with a torch and your head in the footwell whilst somebody has a hose pipe over the windscreen/roof. You could also pour water down the windscreen and take the covers off your bulkhead and see where the water goes.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Still searching for leak all drain holes clear Any other areas where water can get in, have enderscope on way but have to wait for it to arrive. Have picture of plastic tube can anybody say what it is and where it should go please Thanks in advance

POST 10Original post

That's just a drain pipe for batteries that have an overflow port on them.
