Alan's home is Orlando Florida, but he travels worldwide to do installs, just give him a call at [phone removed], he can also recommend installers in your area.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Enjoy!!!
BTW, needless to say I highly recommend getting this done!
Looks great! Love all the mods you have done so far! Would you know if the crest from the hood was removed prior to the putting a film on and if he was able to put the film underneath the fenders around the edge of the head lights. I think it is important that the edge of the plastic film is not exposed to the front, since it might accumulate dirt, which with time it might show discoloration. My car is being done today and I've requested that they tuck the film underneath around the edges that are exposed to the front.
Yes the emblem was removed (I thought I mentioned that in the article??) and no the edges aren't exposed to the front wherever possible. If the edges are down tight it's not a problem, or has never been a problem on prior cars I've owned, but I agree you don't want the edges coming up because dirt will get under them.
Alan is currently doing Tom Simmons Cayman S (another member here) and I snapped a few photos. I also did Tom's intake mod in about 15 minutes from start to finish, I have it down as a science now!
K-Man S, the article is fairly detailed and informative, I must of missed the emblem part. I wish that I would of been living in yourarea to join you guys. In the New York Metro area the installation is pretty pricey, however I just had to have it done, so my car is getting done right now. Please post some more photos, I'll have some pics on Monday of my installation.
Here's a photo to Tom Simmons's car being done by Alan
Not only did I do Tom's intake mod but later in the day K-Man Sculpture.Net showed up and I did his intake mod as well!
Why the intake mod? Hopefully some benefit and no harm but it still seems like second guessing our German engineers. Looks like a good gaggle of Caymans.
Well if the mod gains only more sound, that's fine, if it also gains more hp then great, tomorrow's tests will hopefully tell, and it is very easy to undo the mod if no longer desired. They asked, I was happy to oblige.
Here's what our German marketers are keeping from us:
Well the dyno results are in for AFTER the Air Intake Mod. Same dyno, same temperatures and conditions, 2 days later, same tank of gas, only difference was the Air Intake mod was completed. Results of the first run...
283 RWHP!!!
results of the second run
282 RWHP!!!
This compares to 267 and 269 done 2 days ago. It would appear that this modification is worth at least
13
horsepower at the rear wheels!!! I've gotta start charging for my services!!!
ENJOY!!!

I have just got a quotation from my dealer in Walnut Creek, CA
it cost around $1300 after tax for the installation. Is it too high? my friend did it with his CLS and MB dealer only charge him around $700
I still have until tomorrow to think about this.
As I said a few messages above Alan is located in ORLANDO, FLORIDA. He does travel to do installs, he traveled to KC to do several. He usually needs at least 3-4 installs (they don't all have to be Caymans) to make it cost effective for him to fly out.

He can get kits for almost any car and prices are based on the kit and the difficulty so you really need to call him at [phone removed] to get all of the details from Alan. If you don't have enough people in your area he can probably recommend someone in your area, but you need to call him and ask.
