Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Yes in a word, but I will be under it occasionally to clean and check the condition of the bodywork.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As I get nearer to 60 years of age, I find that if I spend to long on the floor, getting up becomes harder by the year. So when the opportunity to buy an "aide" came along, I saw this and thought that will nicely. Now I am restricted by the height in the garage, and not having the soft top not a coupe, I do have to watch as I lift the car up that I walk round and check that it is safe to raise it.

POST 2Original post

wow @Mark Vine looks a bit fancier than a quickjack.

Yes in a word, but I will be under it occasionally to clean and check the condition of the bodywork. One of the good things, is that you can remove the under tray easily.

POST 6Original post

Great bit of kit, very similar to mine, I see that's got a metal roller and electric solenoids on the safety catches. You've picked a decent one.

POST 7Original post

How do you remove the undertray? I presume that you have rubber blocks under the jacking points but from the pictures I cannot see how to unbolt the under tray. Other than that it does look like a good buy.

The under tray of the car, not the jack. And yes there are rubber blocks that you place beneath the jacking points.

POST 9Original post

What make/model of lift is this? Looks to be exactly what I’m after. Always good to see it in use with a 996

POST 10Original post

Mark, I'm looking at getting one possibly at the classic car show in Nov. Please can you forward the make and company that supplied it.

Mark - if enough folks here are interested in one it may be worth seeing if we can get a deal with the supplier. Just a thought, but has been a good tactic to secure 10% discount on some other garage purchases in the past.

Yes mate. Still on LinkedIn

POST 15Original post

I'm interested too. This looks better than Quickjacks as it can go higher, though less easy to tidy out of the way.
