Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No, facelifts are '51 plate onwards - the big giveaway are the Turbo headlights.
A T plate makes it a '99 car unless it's private?

Some cars like JPR's had the 3.6 litre engine in it even though they didn't have the later Turbo lights. I didn't know this until about a few months ago when I was searching for 996's on eBay and asked a seller to confirm if his description of a 3.6 was in fact a 3.4 as his car was a pre-face lift. He told me his was a rare pre-face lift car but with the newer engine.

That's news to me. The latest pre-facelift I saw was an 02 and that was a 3.4. Maybe your ebay seller was being economical with the truth?
