Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Help! I have an oil drip from a large drain like plug under the car to the left (as looking from the back) It is leaking engine oil in a drip and I need to stop it. Does anyone know what this is? Its not the main oil drain as this is in the middle. Any info greatly received. Picture of said plug now below Many thanks

POST 2Original post

Looks like one of the cam chain tensioners. The sealing ring sometimes leaks. I think the cams need to be locked before removing the tensioner to replace the seal.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

it was thankfully! cheap to fix apart from a new oil service!
