Hi - can only find older threads on this so starting afresh.
I was driving along today, not fast or anything, and both PSM and ABS warning lights came on at the same time after I pressed the brake. I pulled over, turned off the car, waited a few minutes, turned on, and the lights were gone. I drove off a little while later, again after about 5 mins driving I pressed the brake and the warning lights both came on again and stayed on all the way home (about 25 mins driving).
later same day, I went back out for a drive - started the car and the warning lights did not come on at all this time, even after pressing the brake quite hard a couple of times
The old threads seem to suggest this could be a sensor issue and hopefully acheap-ish fix, but there's some other problems listed as well. I've got no skills / tools to be able to investigate this myself so likely it's gonna need booked into my local specialist.
Am I safe to drive it in the meantime ya think? Car seems to be driving / running / braking fine.

Before driving open the front hood and remove the cover (right of center) to expose the brake fluid reservoir. Make sure the level is between Min and Max. This assumes you are parked on a fairly level spot.
Also how old is your battery? If it is old or not correctly connected it can cause PSM and maybe ABS errors - and other problems.
Thanks - I know the brake fluid was just changed on a minor service two weeks ago with Porsche specialist so I doubt that's an issue, but will check. The battery was replaced 5 years ago, and was inspected / checked three months ago by Porsche specialist - it was noted that although it's not a Porsche battery, it's fine and in good working order.
I saw your post about replacing your speakers.

How long ago qas that work done? Is it possible the shop disconnected your battery while servicing the radio? They might not of reconnected it securely.
Obviously I'm just throwing out ideas that can easily be checked. as long as your brake fluid is good and you aren't noticing any problem using your brakes to stop, you should be able to safely drive the car. But I'd take it to your specialist ASAP.

Thanks, yeah the speaker work was done in February this year, and the service / battery check was done several months later, but of course maybe it's taken some time for this issue to show up. I'll give the guys at Precision Porsche a call tomorrow and see if I can get it booked in ASAP.
