I've noticed a small oil leak under the car, I thought it was the solinoids but after a good look around under the car it looks like it's coming from what I believe is the cam cover on the drivers side.

To me it looks like a simple fix, remove the cover and replace the gasket, but who knows.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

The cover is a round shape with 4 x 10mm nuts securing it. Can anyone confirm that it is the cam cover and if i undo the 4 nuts will all the oil pour out? To me it looks like a simple fix, remove the cover and replace the gasket, but who knows. Any advice would be appreciated. Migration info. Legacy thread was 131838
