Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

no problem Mickey, I'm a bit of a 'wheel weirdo' myself
it
is
tough to justify $4-5k worth of wheels for 10+ yo car
I got extremely lucky when I secured a set of Techarts for my 996
they fit the curves of the car perfectly and had the chunkier look I wanted

I go back and forth, like most of the folks here do I'm sure, on doing things to my car. What's worth the investment?....Will this really improve my driving experience....performance.....etc....? I find myself wanting to go back to air cooled...do a hot rod, but I like to modern conveniences of water cooled. Doing anything to a car seems to compromise it's value to the Porsche community. I guess it comes down to, do I "hot rod" my C4S, or do I sell it and buy an air cooled and have fun with that. I do kinda like the idea of a "tweaked" C4S
Besides, can't really compromise the value one a 996 these days
